no need to sell - just thought it might be a good way of selling the plates!

you prefer the audi to the merc? they are very different and serve different purposes! I like having both :P

Gosh, that is one hell of a sad indictment that you've just admitted to! - you thought selling a CAR is a good way to sell a plate because you can't sell them on their own!?

don't you just think people will buy the car for the market value (less than your valuation, but what else did we expect) and discount the price of the plate to NIL as they are so bad!

the customer will be free to buy car alone, plate alone or both together ...
why pay twice to advertise the items separately? makes sense doing it this way ...

bahaha, so you'll sell the car in the spring, and still be left with the plate. great sales tactic! you're still gonna be left with 15 plates by 31/12/12!

I have the audi for days when I feel like being 'youthful' ...
the mercedes has pure presence and oozes class. I bought it after seeing lots of them on the road still in Hong Kong! 5 days after getting back from there :) a LOT of car for the price!

they did ooze class back in late 80s and early 90s. Not since then! Most people in HK keep them due to road tax and licence fees and legislation, so once they have them, they keep them. Over here, there's no excuse!

A lot of car for £1500-£2k yes, but you'd spend that on petrol, tax, insurance and servicing in 2 years. So most people will steer clear.

You must look like the oddest person getting out of one. 28 going on 60. Thinking that buying a big heavy Mercedes gives you 'presence' and class. FAIL!

I didn't say it gives ME that - I said those are qualities the car possesses! I don't really care what people think - I love it! On the motorway, it's sublime!
