can i take a reg from an old car i have ? i have been told that i may not be able to as the car does not have any mot and that some registrations are non-transferable.

how do i know if the number plate is non-transferable ? cant i just take the plate off the car and sell them with the log book ?

It needs to have a current MOT certificate I'm afraid.
Once the vehicle has passed that and as long as it is not a 'Q' plate, it should be transferable.

Good luck.

It does NOT need to be MOT'd, you need to SORN the vehicle ASAP (PM me the Reg Number).
